The Manhattan Transfer: Brasil

That’s “Brasil” with an “s”, please.  And it’s Brasil with a capital B for the Transfer on this gig.  While this release may have been outside the norm for them, their vocal and arranging talents give a unique spin on these second-wave Brasilian compositions, which feature the likes of Milton Nascimento, Gilberto Gil and Djavan.  I already knew many of these songs, and to hear them in the Transfer’s version is a treat.
