This is “planting week”, where I put the veggie plants into the ground, shoot ’em with some Miracle Gro, and wait a few months for some real tomatoes, peppers, etc. So, what happens in the middle of all this? I burn out the engine in my Honda mini-tiller.

Weather Underground
Weather Underground is my favorite weather site by far. The forecasts seem to be among the more accurate out there, and they are based on both the official National Weather Service forecasts and observations by Weather Underground’s own meteorologists. Weather Underground was founded in 1995 by Dr. Jeff Masters, a meteorologist and former NOAA Hurricane Hunter from 1986-1990. With all the other sites out there, why this one?

Buying tires online
I know it sounds like an impossible concept, but yes, it is possible to buy tires online, and save money. I’ve actually been doing it for many years, even in pre-internet days via mail order. Just placed another order today, in fact, exactly two years from the last time I ordered. It’s easy, it has some beneficial advantages, and yes, it saves some cash in the process.
Honda: Future Models
Anyone who knows me, knows that I’ve been a Honda fanatic for awhile. I’d struggled with other cars that left me stranded, or just fell apart well before their prime. (Don’t even get me started on our ’02 Malibu.) But I’m usually excited to see new Honda models come out, since Honda keeps their models on a strict 5-year schedule now. At the North American International Auto Show back east in Detroit, Honda has unveiled two cars. Read on for a couple of “borrowed” pictures!
